Typical foods

In 2022, UNESCO recognised a list of 30 food and drink-related traditions as part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Please select at least 3 foods/drinks that you think are part of the list.

The DigiCULT project came about thanks to the collaboration of several partners. Each of them has its own food culture: can you name at least one food from each project partner (Italy, Sweden, Cyprus, Ireland and Croatia)?

The food pyramid is a table that invites the population to follow the dietary advice given by a qualified health organisation or society. Links the levels of the pyramid to foods on the assumption that the foods at the top of the pyramid are those that should be consumed in small quantities and, consequently, the foods at the bottom are those that should be consumed more frequently and in larger quantities.

Pizza is now an international dish: wherever you travel, from north to south, it is a food you find in every county. But could you recreate it? Yes? then list the main ingredients that make up a classic margherita pizza.
